Daniel Wellings
Daniel Wellings is a seasoned educational leader and entrepreneur with a unique blend of school transformation expertise, corporate development, and international partnerships. Coming from a long tradition of UK headteachers, Daniel has successfully led strategic acquisitions and turnarounds in the education sector, including revitalising Kingsley School from a £1.8 million deficit to a cash-flow surplus, expanding its SEN and environmental education provision, and winning the ISA Award for Sustainability and Environmental Education. At KSI Education, he spearheaded the acquisitions and growth of Heathfield School and Greene’s College Oxford, combining operational excellence with financial innovation to drive sustainable expansion. His background in investment banking and project finance across Asia and Africa adds a global perspective to his work, particularly in cross-border M&A and education investment. Daniel is also the founder of Sanderson Charles, a consultancy specialising in UK–Asia educational partnerships and acquisitions, Daniel now advises schools, groups, and investors on complex growth strategies and cross-border collaborations. He is also the founder and chairman of the Divergent School Group CIC, pioneering affordable and inclusive SEN education for the “missing middle” of underserved students in the UK. Deeply networked in UK educational and political circles, Daniel brings invaluable insights and access to key decision-makers, enabling innovative school development and international partnerships. His expertise in leadership, business development, and strategic relationship-building makes him a transformative force in shaping the future of education globally.
Stephanie Hobler
Stephanie Hobler is a dynamic education leader and entrepreneur with more than 15 years of international experience spanning teaching, consultancy, and senior management across Asia, the UK, and beyond. As CEO and Company Director of EDP Group, she has pioneered innovative safeguarding and wellbeing training for international schools worldwide, partnering with governments, regional associations, and leading school groups to raise global safeguarding standards. Stephanie is recognised as a thought leader in education policy, teacher training, and international school management, frequently speaking at conferences and advising ministries and associations on strategic education development. Her career includes leading the rapid growth of TES Global’s teacher training division across Asia Pacific, expanding the iPGCE programme by over 1000% and establishing partnerships with major institutions such as HSBC Private Banking, Citibank, and Prudential to advise ultra-high-net-worth families on elite school and university admissions. She has served as an advisor to the Welsh Government on education policy in Hong Kong, a judge for the China Schools Awards, and a keynote speaker at global education events. With her proven ability to scale education ventures, build trusted networks, and influence policy, Stephanie brings deep strategic insight and innovative thinking to drive the future of education partnerships.
